OMG what a fabulous way to tell the story and I don’t think it would have worked any other way! I loved the contrast of the past and present which helps highlight the soft and hard of Kilgore and gave insights into what made him the man he is. I loved the strength Constantine shows despite her insecurities. I loved that both the hero and heroine were flawed in some way and together they made the other one a better person. Then of course there is Julie Johnstone’s writing. She has a way of drawing the reader in and making them feel EVERYTHING the hero/heroine feels.
It sounds fabulous. On my TBR list!
